2020 CCAA gallery entry for "Black & White"
From the description: "This pendant was created as a metaphor for the human longing for certainty. We often seek and speak in absolutes, although of course the world around us is very rarely so black-and-white. We use a multitude of modern-day scrying tools in our attempts to grasp and define conviction; here, celestial elements, an all-seeing eye, and a scrying bowl are nods to this ancestral practice. While patinaed to at first glance evoke blackness on the "white metal," therefore nearing the Black & White theme physically as well, the piece is actually, and appropriately, in shades of grey."
