Per popular request: New homeopathy-safe (mint free) flavor options! Formulations now include nutrient-rich sea buckthorn oil for an even more deeply rejuvenating lip treatment.
Unlike most lip balms that sit atop the lips, ours actually sinks into the skin to deeply moisturize and nourish. Lip balm companies include two surprising and unfortunate elements in their balms: 1) active ingredients that actually dry the lips (hello job security!) and 2) a plethora of ingredients one ought to never actually consume. Considering the fact that lip balms ought to both moisturize and be food-safe (since they are, you see, put on your mouth), there must be a better way!
Ten Air Studios Lip Balms are a conditioning, completely natural formulation that deeply moisturizes lips. They are not sweetened or artificially flavored (chemical enhancements that encourage you to lick your lips unconsciously, thus quickly leading to drying), but instead, scented with natural flavor oils and the highest quality therapeutic grade essential oils. They are made only with ingredients that you could actually consume… or feel comfortable kissing a loved one with!
One more thing that sets our balms apart from the herd: The tinted versions (when in stock) have the miraculous power of sheer skin-matching tint, not through chemical processes but thanks to alkanet root. This gorgeous red plant root provides a hint of dye that is both natural and beautiful.
You’d be astonished to learn how many “handcrafted” lip balms have been bought pre-made and simply embellished with a flavoring and a label. You can trust that Ten Air Studios balms have been crafted in very small batches and entirely from scratch.
botanical lip balm
Ingredients: Cocoa butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, vitamin E, sea buckthorn oil, essential oils and natural flavor
"Flavors:" .15 oz vanilla birch, coconut lavender, rose raspberry; .07oz Spice Stick [see below]
Spice Stick details: A natural lip-plumping formula in a slim applicator that energizes lips, enlivens them with a soft stingy buzz, and blushes them with enhanced circulation. Formulated with essential oils of cassia, chili seed and peppermint.
The oils that enhance Spice Stick are "hot oils," so use this balm mindfully---avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive body parts, be mindful about smooching children immediately after application, and remove from lips if the sensation brings you discomfort.
Apply Spice Stick as you would regular lip balm for a mild effect, or for a more intensely invigorating experience, exfoliate lips prior to application. Press lips together to refresh the sensation.
